Another earthquake, this time measuring 5.6-magnitude, struck southern Iran on Wednesday at 5:28am local time. 

The hypocenter of the tremor was ten kilometers beneath the surface, and its epicenter was located 94 kilometers south of the administrative center of Iran’s Bushehr Province. But there is no information yet with respect to any damages, casualties, or injuries, the Voice of Russia reports.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the death toll has risen to 37 in the earthquake that struck southern Iran, nearby Bushehr nuclear power plant, and close to 800 are injured.

To note, a 6.3-magnitude quake hit Bushehr Province on Tuesday, and the tremor was followed by several aftershocks. 

A number of cities were completely destroyed. Earlier, IRNA News Agency of Iran had reported that considerable damage was caused to these cities. According to the governor of Bushehr, the nuclear power plant, which is located in the province, was not damaged as a result of this seismic activity

Three-day mourning was declared in Iran on Tuesday.
