A citizen of Armenia was detained at Sarpi checkpoint on Georgian-Turkish border on charges of importing a prohibited drug “Tramadol”.

The Georgian revenue service said in a statement that 180 tablets of Tramadol “containing narcotic substance” were found.

According to Novosti Gruziya, the case of the Armenian citizen was transferred to the Department of Criminal Police for further action.
