A new earthquake, this time measuring 5.7 magnitude, hit Iran on Wednesday at 7:15am Armenia time, US Geological Survey informs.

According to the seismologists’ data, the epicenter of this tremor was 202 kilometers southeast of Zahedan city, and its hypocenter was 68.3 kilometers beneath the surface.   

But there is no information on any damages, casualties, or injured.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, a major earthquake measuring—according to various sources—between 7.5 and 7.8 magnitude, struck Iran on Tuesday near the border with Pakistan. The quake was felt in neighboring countries, including India. The tremor caused damages, casualties, and injuries.
