YEREVAN. – Syrian Armenians were not affected by a Damascus blast, spokesperson for the Armenian foreign ministry Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The blast took place not far from the building of the Armenian Embassy in Damascus. As reported earlier, officers of the Armenian diplomatic mission were not affected by terrorist attack.

Thirteen people were killed and over 70 were wounded in a terrorist attack in the center of Syria’s capital on Tuesday, SANA reported. Many of the injured people are critical.
