YEREVAN. – The two-week workshop on providing first aid to those wounded during demining activities is coming to an end in Armenia. 

This workshop—which kicked off on May 13 in the area of the Armenian MOD peacekeeping engineering battalion and along the lines of the Armenia-US State of Kansas partnership program—is carried out by the instructors from the Kansas National Guard, and representatives from the military medical service of the Armenian Armed Forces are taking part in this training.     

The two-week workshop was held in two phases. In the first phase, the participants were taught general theoretical knowledge on providing respective medical assistance, and, in the second phase, practical training was conducted. 

In addition, the workshop participants will get familiar with the methodology of the teaching course.
