YEREVAN. – The “Employment through Internship and Training” program will get underway in Armenia.

This program, which is proposed by the Key Solutions company, is conducted along the lines of the grant contest that is financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness (EDMC) Project, and in support by the capital city Yerevan’s Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University.

Within the framework of this program, Yerevan university students will have an opportunity to conduct a two-month internship and training course in the domains which EDMC considers as targets; these domains are Information Technology, tourism, fruit and vegetable processing, and pharmacy/biotechnologies.

Twenty students will be selected through an interview.     

The aforesaid project is unique because the students will also receive an employment opportunities in the abovementioned domains.   

The objective of this five-year program is to increase employment and income in Armenia.
