YEREVAN. – The negotiation process on Karabakh led by the OSCE Minsk Group is suspended from time to time, but, nevertheless, ensures the existing peace, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told reporters.

“I think that the parties have not fully used all the capabilities. They are trying to prove constructive approaches for the issue to be resolved in a peaceful environment,” he said during the visit to Sardarapat memorial complex.

During the recent meeting with the Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov said that the status quo on Karabakh is unacceptable for Azerbaijan, Armenia and Karabakh, as well as Russia. Security and stability in the Caucasus is extermely important for Russia, he added.
