YEREVAN. – The severing of the contract, in connection with Gabala Radar Station which is located in Azerbaijan, impacted Russian-Azerbaijani relations, political scientist Sergey Minasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
In his conviction, the deterioration of Russian-Azerbaijani relations had an indirect impact on Armenian-Russian ties.
“It is apparent that the continuous deterioration of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan had an impact on Moscow-Baku relations,” Minasyan noted.
He also stressed that this factor positively impacted the relations between Yerevan and Moscow.
To note, the Russian military left Gabala Radar Station because Moscow and Baku could not agree on extending its leasing period.
