Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Jean-Claude Mignon expressed a wish to examine the Nagorno-Karabakh issue with Armenia and Azerbaijan. 

“I would like to discuss this matter with the Armenian and the Azerbaijani delegations,” he said during a press conference.  

Mignon recalled the Nagorno-Karabakh committee that functions within the framework of PACE.

He also noted that, “The Madrid Principles, which the [OSCE] Minsk Group mediators have designed,” are the foundation for the activities in that direction, RIA Novosti News Agency of Russia reports.
