The specialists from the Armenian capital city Yerevan Emergency Medical Assistance Company are in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, capital city Stepanakert since June 23.

They are visiting Artsakh along the lines of the cooperation program that is signed between the municipalities of Yerevan and Stepanakert. 

The specialists from Yerevan are responding to the emergency calls, providing necessary medical assistance, and conducting exchange of knowhow. Lectures are held, as well.

Hosting the physicians from the Armenian capital city, Stepanakert Mayor Suren Grigoryan thanked the specialists for their assistance, and expressed a hope that such visits will continue and the activities of Stepanakert’s emergency assistance unit will gradually meet the modern-day demands.     

In her turn, Yerevan Emergency Medical Assistance Company Director Taguhi Stepanyan presented the activities that are conducted in the margins of their visit, and she noted that the cooperation between the two capital cities is at the focus of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.   

The next phase of this program will continue until Wednesday.
