STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Sunday received a group of youth from Armenia the Armenian diaspora.

The young people had arrived in Artsakh within the framework of the initiative by the “Birthright Armenia” foundation, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informs.

Sahakyan highly appreciated the activities of this foundation in cementing ties between the Motherland and the Diaspora, considering its work in preserving the Armenian national identity and patriotic upbringing of the young generation to be very much in demand.

During the talk the President also answered to a variety of questions posed by the youth and touched upon the domestic and foreign policy issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
