YEREVAN. – Iranian students have also observed progress in quality of education in Armenia, Ambassador Mohammad Reisi said.

On Tuesday, Iranian Ambassador was received by Education Minister Armen Ashotyan.

Minister Ashotyan noted that Ambassador is actively working with Armenian educational institutions and is well informed about students’ problems. Ashotyan said the Armenian institutes are undergoing European accreditation in order to improve the quality and be more attractive for the foreign students, including those from Iran.

In his turn, Ambassador Reisi thanked Armenian government for its help in solving problems of the Iranian students. He noted that Iran had registered progress in science and research and is ready to share experience with Armenia.

The sides discussed the idea of founding a joint Armenia-Iran educational institution as it is easier to develop political and economic relations based on ties in education and culture.
