ETCHMIADZIN. – Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Friday received the participants of the Armenian-Romanian business forum being held in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

Karekin II underscored the holding of such forums and noted that they further strengthen relations between the two peoples.

Also, the Catholicos stressed the role of the Armenian community and the Armenian Church Diocese of Romania, in terms of strengthening friendship between the Armenians and the Romanians. 

The interlocutors reflected on relations between the Armenian Apostolic and the Romanian Orthodox Churches, and the mutual visits by the spiritual leaders of the two churches.    

At the end of the talk, Catholicos Karekin II brought his blessings upon the business forum participants and wished success to their initiative for the benefit of Armenia and Romania.
