YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday addressed a message of condolence to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in connection with the deadly car crash which claimed eighteen lives.

He extended his deep sorrow and support to the families of the victims, wishing patience and fortitude, and a speedy recovery to the injured.

Eighteen people were killed and at least 40 injured in a road crash, involving a truck, a bus and other vehicles several kilometers south from the center of Moscow.

The driver of a truck with gravel, which ploughed into the bus in Russia, is a 46-year-old citizen of Armenia.
