YEREVAN. – Budget expenditures on gas and electricity consumption will rise by AMD 3.1 billion due to increase in gas and electricity prices.

During the Thursday session, the Armenian government approved amendments to state budget, according to which the additional expenditures will be funded at the expense of additional revenue.

New electricity and gas prices came into effect from July 7.
