ALEPPO. – No Armenians have been affected by a blast in Jaramana area outside Damascus, press service of the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to the source, Jaramana is mainly populated by Christians, including around 400 Armenian families. The source did not exclude that the blast could have damaged property belonging to local Armenians.
According to SANA state agency, 18 people, including three children, were killed in terrorist attack. Another 56 people were wounded as powerful car bomb exploded.
