YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday received FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.

Serzh Sargsyan, who is also heading Armenian chess federation, discussed Armenia’s efforts to develop chess in the country. The sides praised successful performances of the Armenian players abroad, discussed issues related to deepening of cooperation between Armenian federation and FIDE.
