Armenia is third among the Eastern Partnership member states in terms of media freedom index, says the research issued by Internews-Ukraine NGO.

Georgia is the first on media freedom followed by Moldova, Armenia and Ukraine, project coordinator Natalia Sad said. Azerbaijan is the last in the list preceded by Belarus., Focus reported.

President of Yerevan press club Boris Navasardyan, who is coordinator of the South Caucasus project, said the index will be calculated every four months during two years.
