YEREVAN. – In Summer 2013, a total of four people have drowned in the coastal areas of Georgia, and three of these victims were the citizens of Armenia.

Two such unfortunate incidents were recorded in the past three days alone, as two young lives fell victims to the waves, informs the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Not knowing how to swim, swimming in the sea while drunk or late in the evening, and not following the safety rules and the expected storm warnings are main causes of drowning.
