KAJARAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday participated in the official opening of the medical center in Kajaran town. 

Syunik Region and town authorities also attended the opening ceremony, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informs from Kajaran.  

The hospital, which was built fifty years ago, was damaged by an earthquake. Subsequently, a polyclinic and an inpatient hospital functioned in the town.

The renovations at the medical center had begun in August 2011 and finished recently.    

The hospital has also been supplied with modern medical equipment.
