Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will support German national team, if it qualifies for the final of World Cup 2010 in South Africa, REGNUM agency reports.

“If you remember, when Turkey and Germany faced in the semifinal of European Championship, football fans were flying flags of two states. If Germans get through the final, I will root for them,” Erdogan said.

German national team will face Azerbaijani squad in the qualifying of World Cup 2010.
