STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Thursday met with rector Armen Darbinyan of the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University in Armenia.

Several matters concerning the development of higher education in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting, informs the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

In this context, President Sahakyan highlighted the importance of further deepening cooperation between Slavonic University and Artsakh State University and the practical ties between them.

He added that the cooperation with leading educational institutions greatly contributed to the continuous improvement of education and science in the country.

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan and several other officials also attended the talk.
