YEREVAN. – An unknown man committed an armed assault on the office of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) headed by Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

Spokesperson for ANC Arman Musinyan told the Armenian News-NEWS.am that an unknown man broke into the central office armed with two daggers.

He voiced threats against the leadership of the party and then disappeared.

The ANC representatives have already contacted the police and have given testimony.  Musinyan said no one was affected by the incident. The details will be provided later.
