For the most part, the adversary opened fire in the direction of the forest and the people traveling along the road of Vazashen village. But, fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries.

Vazashen village prefect Lorik Badiryan stated the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am

In his words, even though the people are usually in the forest for harvesting, fortunately, and due to bad weather conditions, there was no one in the forest on that day.

“This [i.e., the Azerbaijani shooting] has become an ordinary event for us; they always shoot. The residents don’t even panic anymore, and these shootings do not affect the school and kindergarten classes [of the village],” Badiryan added.

To note, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have violated the ceasefire agreement, on November 16 from around 12:30pm to 2pm, and opened intense fire in the direction of Armenia’s Tavush Region.

The Defense Minister’s press secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan had told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am

In Hovhannisyan’s words, specifically, the Azerbaijanis fired at the civilian vehicles traveling along the road toward Vazashen village, and they also targeted several other sections.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

But adhering to Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s command, the Armenian Armed Forces did not return fire.

“The Azerbaijani side does not maintain the ceasefire and disregards all calls for peace yet again. As a result, the full responsibility for the incident will fall upon them,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan had stated.
