YEREVAN. – Armenian citizen Naira Grigoryan died after the roof of a supermarket collapsed in the Latvian capital, Riga, the Armenian MFA press service informed. 

To note, the roof of Maxima supermarket in Riga collapsed on Thursday. According to the most recent data, the death toll has reached 25, informs the Latvian fire and rescue service. There are three rescue workers among the dead. Forty people, including a child and ten rescuers, are injured. It is unknown as to exactly how many people are trapped in the rubble.

President Andris Bērziņš has announced that mourning will be declared in Latvia.
