European Union is likely to start lifting sanctions against Iran in December, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said.

The process will start in December, Fabius said in an interview with Europe 1 on Monday. He did not specify what sanctions will be lifted, adding that the process will be reversible, ITAR-TASS reported.

Paris gave a positive assessment of the agreement reached between Iran and P5+1.

However, Minister Fabius said the deal does not acknowledge Iran’s right to enrichment and there are specific limitations, RT reported.
