Association Agreement and free trade area agreement were technically initialized with Georgia and Moldova in Vilnius on Thursday.
The Georgian foreign ministry was represented by Deputy Minister Davit Zalkaliani, ITAR-TASS reported quoting Georgian TV channels.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Zalkaliani said the initialing of a document is “a historic event for Georgia.”
The summit brought together representatives of all six partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
