YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily learned Friday that, in all likelihood, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who will arrive in Armenia on December 2, will not spend the night in the country, the daily reports.

“Arriving in [the City of] Gyumri, he will participate in the events being organized there, subsequently, he will come to [capital city] Yerevan, visit Tsitsernakaberd [i.e., the Armenian Genocide Memorial], attend the dinner to be given in his honor, and head back to Moscow.

“Apparently, the reason for not spending the night [in Armenia] is that he did not spend the night likewise during his visit to [Azerbaijan’s capital city] Baku,” Hraparak writes.
