YEREVAN. - As a member of the CSTO, Armenia will purchase Russian weapons at domestic prices, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference in Yerevan on Monday, Armenian News-NEWS.am reports.

President Putinstressed that prices for weapons is not merely a security issue but also economic issue, as it is related to the state budget.

“In Gyumri we have also met with soldiers of the 102nd Russian military base. We are sure that the presence of Russian troops on the Armenian land serves to strengthening stability and security in the South Caucasus and increases the level of practical cooperation between Russia and Armenia as a CSTO member states in the military and military-technical spheres,” Russian president said, commenting on his visit to Gyumri city.
