YEREVAN. – Russian Ministry of Transport is getting ready to hold talks with Armenian colleagues on signing an agreement on international automobile transport, representative of Russian Transport Ministry told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Leonid Sokolov said a regulatory framework is required for any economic interaction.
“We have only agreement signed between the ministries. It is a framework agreement and is not a regulatory document, he said.
Sokolov noted that Armenian Transport Ministry earlier put forward an initiative to sign an agreement but then abandoned the idea.
“We are going to discuss situation with the Armenian colleagues,” he added.
