YEREVAN. – Armenian Energy Ministry will not comment on Iranian Ambassador’s remarks on gas supply in coming three days.

Spokesperson for the Ministry Lusine Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Minister is in Nagorno-Karabakh now. Taking into account the context of the matter, only the Minister personally will be able to comment on the issue.

During the Friday press conference, Iranian Ambassador said nothing prevents his country from selling gas to friendly states and other countries at different rates.

“Theoretically, nothing prevents Iran to sell gas at $400 to common states and at $100 to friendly countries,” Reisi said.

As a result of the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Armenia it was agreed to reduce the gas price from $270 to $189 per thousand cubic meters.
