The 5th meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the 1954 Hague Convention was held at UNESCO Headquarters, on December 16-17.

During the meeting, participants elected six members of the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. Armenia was elected a member for a four-year term.
