Russian Federation Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev issued a message of congratulations to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan of Armenia, on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays. 

“The passing year was especially productive for the development of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership.

“Armenia’s decision to join the Eurasian integration process and to become a member in the Customs Union bespeaks the common interests of our two peoples and the mutual disposition to invigorate cooperation.      

“I am confident that your visit to Russia, in February 2014, will contribute to the strengthening of the strategic relations between Armenia and Russia,” Medvedev’s congratulatory message reads, in particular.
