The death toll has reached to 17 in Sunday’s bombing at a railway station building in southern Russian city of Volgograd.  

The Armenian Crisis Management Center established contact with the Russian Federation National Crisis Management Center, which informed that, at the moment, 17 people have died and 40 others are hospitalized as a result of the explosion. 

According to preliminary data, there are no Armenian citizens, or Armenians, among the dead. But there are two Armenian women among the injured: Nina Harutyunyan, 32, and Susanna Grigoryan, 35. Doctors say they are in average critical condition.      

The terror-alert level has been raised in Volgograd on Sunday, and for fifteen days.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the aforesaid blast occurred at 12:45pm, Moscow time. According to data, an undetected explosive device, presumably by a female suicide bomber, was used.
