The average Internet speed is 21.84 MB/sec. in the European Union, 20 MB/sec. in the G8 countries, and the global average speed is 16.31 MB/sec.    

The top three leaders in this list are Hong Kong (69.01 MB/sec.), Singapore (59.13 MB/sec.), and Romania (54.96 MB/sec.). 

Russia and Azerbaijan, on the other hand, are 29th and 111th, respectively, in this list.
