YEREVAN. – The Armenian armed forces have silenced the shots which the Azerbaijani side fired toward the villages of Tavush Region.

The Armenian defense minister’s press secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan told the aforesaid to Armenpress news agency. 

Hovhannisyan noted that the Armenian side opened response fire at the adversary.  

“The Azerbaijanis opened fire in the direction of Nerkin Karmraghbyur and Aygepar [border] villages. Our side responded, whereupon the adversary kept silent,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan noted.
