Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will pay his first official visit to Israel where a meeting of Georgian-Israeli intergovernmental economic commission will take place.
During the two-day visit, Garibashvili wil meet with president, prime minister, chairman of Israeli parliament and other officials.
A free trade agreement between Georgia and Israel will be signed, premier’s press service said in a statement.
According to national statistical service, in 2013 the trade turnover between Georgia and Israel has reduced two times as compared with the previous year, making $341.1 million.
