STEPANAKERT. – In connection with the Army Day, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday sent congratulatory messages to President Serzh Sargsyan and Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan of Armenia.

“Respected President Sargsyan:

“On behalf of the Artsakh people, the authorities and myself personally, I cordially congratulate you on the Army Day.

“It is an undeniable fact that, today, the Armenian army is the most efficient and organized army in the region, and this is among the greatest achievements of our nation.

“Following the example of their heroic fathers and grandfathers, the brave soldiers of our glorious army perform the tasks set before them with flying colors, providing security for the homeland and the nation, safeguarding the state borders. This is a vivid manifestation of patriotism and devotion.

“On this festive day, I once again congratulate you and the entire staff of the Republic of Armenia’s armed forces—from a private to general—and wish peace, great health, and huge success for the glory of further strengthening and developing the independent Armenian statehood,” runs Bako Sahakyan’s message to President Sargsyan.
