YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday received Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minks Group James Warlick (USA), Igor Popov (Russia), Jacques Faure (France) and, and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

They discussed possible ways of moving forward in peace talks, Foreign Ministry’s press service reported. The Co-Chairs presented their impressions about meetings in Baku.

Minister Nalbandian stressed importance of preventing constant provocations of the Azerbaijani side, noting that Armenia fully shares the Co-Chairs’ view that the incidents on the border and line of contact are hampering the peace talks and are minimizing the possibilities of reaching peace.

In this context Nalbandian said Armenia shares the view of the Co-Chairs that it is necessary to fully implement the trilateral ceasefire agreement signed in May 1994 and agreement on strengthening of ceasefire regime signed in February 1995. It is necessary to withdraw snipers from the line of contact and create mechanisms to investigate the border incidents.
