YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s inter-state and inter-community thoroughfares are passable as of Saturday at 9:30am.

But there is ice on some sections of Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass, and maintenance works are carried out on these roads with salt and sand, informs the Transport and Communication Ministry press service.

In addition, the Berd-Chambarak motorway is difficult to drive.

According to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia, the country’s Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for passenger vehicles that seat up to thirty people, but with chained wheels.
