Former Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili is confident that the recent developments at Kyiv’s Euromaidan will affect the entire world.

“Ukraine is a big country. Georgia is small. For us Ukraine’s example is very important. This inspiration influences the future of all countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Moldova and Russia, too,” Saakashvili said during his meeting with the head Ukrainian Orthodox-Kiev Patriarchate Patriarch Filaret.

Speaking about the recent developments in Ukraine, former Georgian leader said he believes in the victory of people, adding that it is a struggle between democracy and authoritarian regime, between democracy and freedom.
