YEREVAN. – Armenian government on Thursday approved the decision to relax visa requirements for the citizens of Iraq.

The citizens of Iraq will get their visas on the border or at the airport only at the Armenian embassies and consulates abroad, but visa can be obtained without getting an invitation from Armenia. Earlier similar visa regime was applied to the citizens of India and China.

The list of states the citizens of which can get visa only at the Armenian embassies and consulates abroad and only with an invitation include Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya, Sudan and South Sudan, Saudi Arabia, most African countries.
