STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission conducted a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

The monitoring was held Tuesday, in the Martakert-Terter road section, informs the NKR MFA press service.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and by Office staff member Peter Svedberg.

From the opposite side, the monitoring was held by Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and his field assistants Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic) and William Pryor (Great Britain).

The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule, and no violation of the ceasefire agreement was recorded.

From the Karabakh side, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense.
