YEREVAN. – Armenia is trying to preserve the right for duty-free import of cars from Georgia, Deputy Economy Minister said.
If Armenia gets a permission, the country will not be able to re-export cars to the member states of Customs Union, Garegin Melkonyan told reporters. Audi, BMW and other vehicles of Georgian re-export will be used in Armenia only.
Asked whether the Armenia-registered vehicles will be able to enter Russia without customs clearance, the official said the issue is being discussed.
