YEREVAN. – We can hardly speak about any changes in quality of gas, Deputy Energy Minister Levon Shakhverdyan told reporters.

“I myself as a consumer have not felt any changes. Yes, I had to pay more for gas in December as winter appeared to be very cold. My gas bill was 40,000 drams for my three-room apartment. In summer my bill does not exceed 2-3 thousands,” he said.

Nevertheless, if the government decided to set up a working group, it will be created to give answers to the questions on gas quality, Shakhverdyan added.

During the meeting on Thursday Armenian government decided to set up a working group to discuss calorific value of natural gas.
