Armenian demonstrator Georgiy Harutyunyan, who was killed during the recent clashes in Ukrainian capital city Kyiv, was a Georgian citizen.  

The Union of Ukrainian Armenians, citing official sources, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Harutyunyan was 54 years old, said Ararat Yeghiazaryan, head of the Armenian community of Rivne Oblast (province), Ukraine. 

As reported earlier, EuroMaidan SOS initiative issued the list of those that were killed in the ongoing clashes in Kyiv, and among them was Georgiy Harutyunyan from the City of Rivne.

According to the provided data, 77 people were killed from Tuesday and Thursday.

On January 22, another Armenian, Ukrainian citizen Serhiy Nigoyan, had died of gunshot wounds in Downtown Kyiv.
