YEREVAN. – A young prisoner of Armenia’s Kosh penitentiary, 26-year-old Narek, opened a fake account in Russian Odnoclassniki (Classmates) social network under the name of his girlfriend, Yerevan resident Nune, Armenian News-NEWS.am informs.

Under the fake account the man uploaded all personal data of his girlfriend, including address and phone number, and naked pictures and pornographic photos. He also blackmailed her and demanded that she pays him $3.000 threatening otherwise to publish intimate data. At the same time, Narek, while serving a sentence in prison, had phone conversations of an intimate nature with Nune, a young woman, whom he blackmailed. Narek recorded all intimate phone conversations with Nune and threatened again to publish the records in case she doesn’t pay him $3.000.

The young man is charged and the case is currently in a court of general jurisdiction of Armenia’s Aragatsotn region. The next court hearing is scheduled for Mar. 5.
