President of the European Council  Herman Van Rompuy said EU is ready to sign Association Agreement with Ukraine and support the country in difficult time.

He welcomed the desire of Ukrainian people to live in a free, independent and unified country having strong ties with EU, adding that EU is  following the situation in Ukraine.
