Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Thursday held a meeting of the NKR Security Council.

Combat-readiness and organizing combat duty of the NKR Defense Army, foreign policy, and preparatory activities for the 2014 spring sowing were on the agenda of the discussion.

Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan, Foreign Affairs Minister Karen Mirzoyan, and Agriculture Minister Andranik Khachatryan delivered respective reports.

President Sahakyan gave relevant instructions on the discussed matters to the heads of the concerned agencies.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, and several other officials also attended the meeting.
