The delegation of Armenian Defense Ministry visited the center of British Military Advisory Training Team based in Vyskov, the Czech Republic.

The delegation headed by Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan included chiefs of the departments on defense policy, commander of the peacekeeping brigade, representatives of military education department.
 
The center founded by UK Defense Ministry is holding trainings for the servicemen of the region.

The Armenian servicemen have been participating in trainings since 2002. Around 170 Armenian sergeants and officers trained in the center are serving in different military units of the Armenian Armed Forces, mainly in peacekeeping brigade.

The program of further cooperation with the British Military Advisory Training Team was discussed. Among the agreements reached during the meeting is an increase of quota for trainings of Armenian military, organization of exercises in Armenia, development of training programs.
